The weekly collection and remittance workshops have now ended and are replaced by monthly GDAA review workshops scheduled for 23 February, 24 March, 20 April and 21 May. These review workshops have no formal agenda or minutes but revised interim redrafts of the GDAA will be circulated to attendees beforehand. Non Domestic workshop
In response to demand from attendees, workshops examining the collection and remittance mechanism for Green Deal payments from a non-domestic perspective have been set up.
The second non-domestic workshop discussed a paper outlining the possible VAT scenario for a VAT registered non-domestic customer wishing to pay for the Green Deal overtime via their electricity bill. The document below was the basis for the discussion.

The workshop also discussed the end-to-end process maps to identify any possible changes required from a non-domestic perspective. These will be posted as soon as possible.

At the third workship discussion focussed on the options for the functioning of the Payment remitance Interface (PRI) as per the document below, collection and remittance of the Green Deal charge (excluding prepayment) and the Central Charge Database.

Attendees at the fourth workshop discussed the payment and remittance of the Green Deal charge via prepayment meters, landlord tenant issues, the Central Charge Database and Consumer Credit Act issues and Remittance Data. The workshop also continued the discussion on the draft flow charts that outline the information flows and decision points for the Green deal payment collection and remittance mechanism The documents below reflect the dicussion in the workshop.
Documents from the fifth workshop
Discussion at the fifth workshop focussed on validation and debt check in the Central Charge Database and was based on a paper prepared by MRASCo. Issues arising when a Green Deal customer changes electricity supplier or the bill payer changes during the life of a Green Deal plan were also discussed. Finally a discussion took place on the draft licence condition 37.3 relating to billing and annual energy statements.
