NI 187: Tackling fuel poverty

Percentage of people receiving income based benefits living in homes with a low and high energy efficiency rating

NI 187 imposed a significant burden on local authorities. DECC statisticians have developed a methodology that more accurately measures fuel poverty at a local authority level, and which doesn’t impose any burden on local authorities. NI 187 has now been discontinued and has not been included on the comprehensive data list.
