Umbrella agreements
There are 54 umbrella CCAs with trade bodies representing energy-intensive business sectors. In these agreements, the sector agrees to meet a challenging energy efficiency or carbon-saving target, in return for their 65% discount from the Climate Change Levy (CCL).
Reduced rate certificates
Once a facility is approved for a CCA, they can receive their 65% CCL reduction.
