The purpose of this consultation was to seek views on the Draft Order to Implement the Carbon Reduction Commitment. The consultation also sought feedback on certain policy details for the scheme. The consultation closed on 4 June 2009.
We received 276 formal responses and would like to thank all respondents, including those who provided feedback at the five consultation workshop events held during the consultation period. We have carefully considered the views of all consultees and Government has now finalised the policy for the CRC to be implemented in April 2010.
