Consultation on the proposed changes to the publication of monthly coal statistics

The Department of Energy and Climate Change currently collects and publishes monthly data on coal production, consumption and stocks in the UK. This consultation asked for views on our proposal to make changes to the frequency of data collection, methodology used to produce coal statistics and the dissemination of these statistics. The consultation ran for a period of 8 weeks, starting from Thursday 19th November and ending on Thursday 14th January 2010.
