Standard terms and conditions
The Department of Energy & Climate Change has Standard Terms and Conditions of Contract for Services (PF31) and Standard Terms and Conditions of Contract for Goods (PF32).
These documents set out the obligations and rights of both parties with regard to basic contractual issues (such as payment and invoicing, revision of charges, default by the contractor and termination of the contract); and establish a sound legal framework for any agreement and ensure the Department can enforce compliance or take other remedial measures in the event of default by the supplier.
DECC, along with other public sector organisations, is required to comply with the Race, Gender and Disability Equality Duties to actively promote equality of opportunity. The details of the individual Equality Schemes, which provide the frameworks by which we work to implement those duties, are available on the BIS website.
